With over a decade of college-level teaching experience in both the United States and Colombia, I bring a global and equity-centered approach to higher education. From large lecture halls to intimate seminars, my pedagogy is grounded in experiential, place-based, and abolitionist frameworks that center diverse learners and lived experiences.

From 2019 to 2024, I served as Program Coordinator at the Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) at CUNY, where I was trained in inclusive pedagogical strategies and led professional development workshops for graduate student instructors. My workshops focused on Abolitionist Pedagogy and Place-Based Pedagogy, and I co-directed a mentorship program that supports BIPOC graduate students in their teaching careers.

I am a firm believer in helping students connect classroom learning to their local contexts, and I design my courses to foster critical thinking, community engagement, and reflection. Some of my teaching experiences include:
