I have over 8 years of College-level teaching. As the Program Coordinator for the Teaching and Learning Center, I am constantly engaged in reshaping my pedagogy and bringing in new approaches to center al types of learners. I am a firm believer in having students learn through experiencing and connecting with their local contexts. With the TLC, I have conducted workshops for other graduate students on Abolitionist Pedagogy and Place-Based Pedagogy. I am also co-directing a mentorship program to help BIPOC Graduate students as they begin their teaching careers. Some of my teaching experiences include:

Fulbright Colombia

- Awarded Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship Grant to work as an educator and cultural ambassador.
- Taught English classes at La Salle University to help students achieve B1-B2 levels of English.
- Facilitated 3 classes on cultural topics to inform students about American social dynamics.
- Initiated 10 Fulbright Colombia information workshops at the local universities.
